Spin & Fly (“the Service”) is a community platform for spinning and sharing simulator flight routes, independent of any simulator. By using the Service, you accept these terms.

1. What the Service is for

The Service lets you discover flight routes curated by the community, spin them, log your simulated flights, rate them, tag them, and attach screenshots. It's built for flight-sim enthusiasts.

The Service is currently provided free of charge. Any move to paid features will come with its own commercial terms (pricing, payment method, right of withdrawal for consumers) and advance notice; it will never apply retroactively to past use.

2. Warning — simulation use only

The routes, altitudes, headings, distances, waypoints, and any other data shown on the Service are meant solely for flight simulation. They must never be used for real-world air navigation. This data is neither certified, kept up to date, nor compliant with any civil aviation regulation. For a real flight, rely only on official sources (charts, NOTAMs, current aeronautical documentation).

3. Your account and expected conduct

You sign in through an identity provider (Discord, Google) or a magic link by email. You're responsible for activity on your account. You agree to respectful use: no harassment, no hate speech, no illegal, deceptive, or rights-infringing content.

You must be at least 15 years old to use the Service, or have your legal guardian's permission.

Prohibited content

  • Illegal, defamatory, hateful, or violence-inciting content.
  • Screenshots or text unrelated to flight simulation, or infringing on privacy or the rights of others.
  • Spam, abusive automated content, attempts to bypass the guardrails.

4. Your content (screenshots, text)

You keep ownership of the screenshots and text you publish. By posting them, you grant Spin & Fly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and resize this content for the sole purpose of running the Service (shown on the route page, your profile, your logbook). You warrant that you hold the rights needed for what you publish.

5. Reporting and takedown

Any content can be reported using the dedicated button. Our moderation team handles reports and may take down content judged problematic. Moderation is responsive and light-touch: report, then manual takedown. Content that's taken down is no longer shown publicly. We don't guarantee a handling time at MVP.

6. Account suspension

We may suspend or close an account in the event of repeated or serious breaches of these terms, without notice if the safety of the Service or its community requires it.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. A substantial change will be flagged on the Service. Continued use after an update counts as acceptance.

8. Liability and governing law

The Service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of availability or accuracy of the data. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for the use of flight data outside of simulation. These terms are governed by French law. For any question: hello@spinandfly.app.
